Kelsey joined the firm as an Associate in 2024, following a summer clerkship during law school. Kelsey is a Rome native, having graduated from Coosa High School in 2019. While in high school, Kelsey was enrolled in both Shorter University and Georgia Highlands College, through Georgia’s Dual Enrollment Program. Kelsey graduated from Georgia Highlands College with an Associate Degree in General Studies the summer following her high school graduation. Kelsey went on to graduate with a B.A. in Political Science from Berry College in 2021. While at Berry College, Kelsey worked as a legal assistant for another local law firm, specializing in family law and estate planning. She also gained corporate law experience, by completing an internship with Berry College’s In-House Counsel.

Kelsey attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. During law school, Kelsey clerked with the Floyd County District Attorney’s Office where she learned invaluable litigation skills, by assisting with hearings and trials under the Georgia First Year Practice Act. Kelsey also participated in her law school’s externship program, completing an externship with MSP Attorneys and another law firm, specializing in family law.

Kelsey and her husband, Jake, both live in Rome. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, traveling, and reading.
